Nancy started river pre school a few days after her second birthday. I was a little worried she might be to young as she had spent the previous 6 months with little interaction with others due to lockdown and the pandemic.
From the way Nancy was welcomed on her first day and the phone call I received 1hr after dropping her off to tell me she is doing great and playing dressing up serving cups of tea from the play kitchen I knew I made the right choice.
Nancy’s confidence just grows by the week. She always looks forward to her next session at pre school and I love hearing all about her day when she is home.
Some of Nancy’s favourite things are:
- Reading with her teachers
- Playing at the big school
- Singing and dancing to elephant sprinkles
- Making pictures
- Dressing up
Once or twice a term Nancy’s folder gets sent home which her key worker updates with photos of Nancy, activity’s she has been doing, pictures she has drawn, her development and objectives they are working towards.
The love the teachers show to the Children is amazing, they support the children and parents and are always on hand to answer any questions.
