Elijah Started at River Pre-School in January. We had been nervous about how he would be starting school just before his third birthday, after 2 years of not much time away from us. We were able to have 2 visits before Elijah’s first day on his own and were encouraged to stay at his first session if we felt he needed it. This really helped us to relax and feel confident leaving him. The staff were all very welcoming and helped him settle in very quickly.
We have already noticed such a difference in Elijah’s confidence, especially when it comes to approaching and playing with other children.
He has loved taking part in the Yoga sessions, playing outside on bikes, dancing and singing and often comes home with new pictures he has drawn or coloured. We have loved being able to see what he has been up to with photos and updates from his key worker in his folder.
All of the staff have been so kind and always available to answer any questions we have had. It’s lovely to be able to send Elijah in to school happy and excited about his day. We definitely made the right choice sending him to River Pre-School.
