We are always very thankful to River Primary School, who allow us to visit and use their outside areas. Being a small Church Village Pre-School our outside area has always been small, meaning we have had to always think outside the box on the environment and adapt with our mud kitchen area, our vegetable planting area and small running spaces. So to have such wonderful kind neighbours across the road called River Primary School, we suddenly have access to space, grass, climbing equipment and more importantly the children have an early visual transition to a school environment. This encourages the children to play and explore, investigate and experience things with a ‘have a go’ attitude in a safe space.
