A voluntary committee runs our Pre- School. Members are elected annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is held during Term 1 (September/October).

Committee members do not have to be parents or carers, they can also be members of the local community, grandparents, or other people interested in volunteering for a local charity.

The committee is responsible for ensuring the school runs within the guidelines recommended by Ofsted and to ensure that all monies are spent correctly.

We are a non-profit-making organisation, therefore all monies raised at any fundraising events is spent solely on new equipment and toys for the pre-school.

All committee members are DBS checked and some have or have had a child at the pre-school. Committee members are also permitted to stay on even when their child has left to go to Primary School.
